About NWIBL
The Northwest Independent Baseball League has been providing premier adult wood bat baseball in the Pacific Northwest since 2009.
Our Mission
To provide competitive, well-organized wood bat baseball for adult players in the Portland and Vancouver metro area. We believe the game of baseball shouldn't end after high school or college — it's a lifelong pursuit that builds community, promotes fitness, and keeps the love of the game alive.

Our History
NWIBL founded with 6 teams
Expanded to 12 teams across 2 divisions
30+ Division added for adult players
Safely resumed play during pandemic
60+ Senior Division launched
Women's teams begin forming
24+ teams, 400+ players strong
League Structure
18+ Division
Semi-pro level competition for players 18 and older. Two divisions: Columbia and Cascadia.
30+ Weeknight
Clackamas Division. Games Monday through Friday evenings.
30+ Weekend
Willamette Division. Games on Sundays and select Saturdays.
60+ Division
Senior division with weekday games from 11 AM to 1 PM.
Season Format
Regular Season
18-game schedule running from April through August. Games played at Sckavone, Walker, and other premier facilities.
Playoffs
Best-of-3 playoff series in August. All teams make the playoffs to compete for the City Championship.
All-Star Game
Annual mid-season showcase featuring the league's top talent, complete with home run derby.
